Accessibility

Accessibility is about making content available to as many people as possible, regardless of their equipment or needs.

Where applicable, I'll provide you with alternative access routes to information, either by telephone, email, postal mail or document downloads in the PDF format.

PDF is one of the most popular and portable mediums for providing content that looks the same on screen and in print, regardless of what kind of computer or printer you are using, and regardless of what software package was originally used to create it. If you find you are unable to view PDF files, please download Adobe's FREE PDF Reader.

Viewing in Full Screen

You can remove the toolbar from your web browser and make the website fill the whole screen.

  • To view this website in full screen mode press the F11 key once.
  • Press it again to return the toolbars and the browser back to it's original view.

Changing Font Size

Most browsers allow you to increase the view of a web page through the zoom function.

To make your browser zoom in and out, hold down the Ctrl key and press either the + or - buttons on your keyboard.

If this doesn't work in the browser you are using, you should be able to find more help about enlarging the page or the text size in the help section of your browser's toolbar.

Website Design Considerations

Care has been taken in the design of this website to ensure that it validates to HTML5 standards, as outlined by the W3C. This increases its compliance across multiple web browsers and means that it is more likely to remain accessible as browsers change in the future.

This website is responsive, which means that it can be accessed via any internet-enabled device, regardless of screen size or bandwidth limitations. Page weight has been kept as small as possible so that content can be delivered quickly across mobile/ cellular networks, and functionality is not hindered with JavaScript disabled.

Website Performance

This website has been tested on, and is compatible with, all major operating systems and web browsers.

I aim to make the Focus on Function website available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, there are occasions where it is necessary to carry out maintenance on the site which may mean that certain pages are unavailable for short periods of time.

Every effort is made to make this process as painless as possible, but if you would like to discuss any problems, or your experiences, please feel free to contact me.
